AKIE KANAO
Akie started her career as a hair stylist in Kobe, Japan, where she spent ten years gaining experience as a salon manager and a hairdressing trainer.

While scaling-up the base of her activities to develop her professional expertise overseas, including in Los Angeles, New York and London, she also completed three training courses at Vidal Sassoon Academy where the theory and aesthetic sense of hair styling impressed her deeply.

At the beginning of 2016, she moved to the Netherlands and has been involved with international customers and the local culture, fashion and art. In 2022, she started her salon Kanao hair in Amsterdam.
